Sweet memories
Two palpitating hearts beating on the highest ever wave,
You won't know that I've been loving you for all these years,
You'll never guess that I've been walking on a razor blade.
How tired feet are bleeding and you're just about to faint,
How soul strings are tearing your treasured everything apart,
I've never sinned too much and also wasn't living saint
But always carried something beautiful and deep in heart.
You also won't feel how piercing that nagging pain,
How it reminds more and more each day of distant you,
How trembling fingertips draw precious face in falling rain
Or catch the freezing snowflakes merging into icy cubes.
I force my every cell to drag you out of my aching mind,
To cover those recent years with a layer of the thickest dust,
The more I try to smile the more I feel I'm slowly dying
With all these memories of you to be buried in a winter blast.
