My reflections on a true love

True love never dies, it's deepened in a human fault,
It's all about killing egoes splitting loving hearts in two,
It didn't work after eating together a pound of salt?
It broke upon the stones of daily life... was it then so true?

You gave your everything for passion in his winning eyes
And poured rich liquor of soul asking nothing in return
Instead he crushed you down with a heavy stone of lies
Drawing his egoistic sketches on the cloth of your heart torn.

If you loved yourself without all that senseless sacrifice
And never put him higher than your heaven guide above,
You'd be not so disappointed to get into the trap of lies
And never would you blame your unconditional true love...

You know her every inch better than your own loving heart,
You listen to her every sigh while she hears only herself,
You always lit a candle for her in the falling murky dark,
Always were near each time she cried and needed your help.

Love unites two smallest particles in biggest Universe,
If someone loves to fullest and the other one is playing game,
It's like fighting against the enemy on foot and on horse,
Who's the first to be crushed down with unknown name?

Love is not about fighting distant enemies but compromise,
Love is not admiring yourself convincing others to love you back,
Love is to see the newborn sunrise in someone's sleepy eyes
And leave everything that ruins far away on the passed by track.
