His fast vibrato, rhythm, strong sound and leading style brought innovation.
Hawkins had widely performed, recording, deserving acclaim and ovation.
Becoming known or his drive and gift of improvisation and transformation,
Hawkins achieved commercial/critical success and audiences’ admiration.

Coleman fulfilled his musical ambition, talent, polished his skill and ability.
He manifested a wide spectrum of his creativity, novelty and versatility.
Hawkins showed a unique approach to music expression, interpretation.
A new jazz language - changing chord structure became his innovation.
