Nothing has changed, you can’t change yourself,
You can’t put your feelings and thoughts on the shelf,
Can’t erase the moments of true happiness and sorrow,
Can’t predict where life will take you tomorrow,
So, I will not put away the endless thoughts about you,
Will just reflect all that in endlessly flowing rhymes,
Will always reminisce the sweet, unforgettable times.
So, nothing has changed as far you are concerned,
After long years without you, I’ll leave no stone unturned
To get you back, if not in reality, then in my rhymed lines
And the star you lit above my lonely home will always shine.
