Ann Dvorak – a talented actress, dancer, dance instructor and chorus girl,
Who had pursued Hollywood career in 1920s-1940s, taking a wrong swirl.
She somewhat succeeded as a promising, arising star, but didn’t protrude,
Partially due to miscommunication with the studio’s management or feud.

Despite the fact Ann didn’t become a legend, she showed talent and skill.
She had possessed persistence, courage, consistent effort and strong will.
She played in romantic comedies, westerns, melodramas with grace, style.
Ann was exuberant, good looking, with piercing eyes and charming smile.

When she was off big screen, Ann worked on Broadway, enjoying stage.
She had portrayed her characters with realism despite background, age.
Ann Dvorak established her acting niche and always performed her best.
She outstood with sense of humor, strong personality, passion and zest.

August 2nd – birthday of Ann Dvorak, she was a sweetheart and delight,
Having exuded magnetism, versatility, enthusiasm and illuminating light.
Ann Dvorak was remembered for her creativity, artistry and dedication.
We still salute her, expressing our praise, recognition and appreciation.
