Say butterfly

We were not lucky.
The fortune didn`t smile at us.
Somewhere far away the butterfly didn`t flap its wings so there was no typhoon between us. Look at us.
We are not fated to be together.
Some people have found each other in an incredible situations.
They stay together forever.
Look at us.
We are like two railway tracks.
So close.
But never cross.
In fact, it would be logical to deny this, because we are the creators of our own destiny. And how easy is it, when it would seem,
the universe itself does not want to see you together?
Were our feelings only an illusion?
What would change if something that was between us would not happend?
And even if it would be possible to go back in time and "fix".
WHAT would I fix?
Would I consider you as a "mistake"?
We were not lucky although we were trying to be.
If no, somebody please explain me: what the hell was the attraction between us?!
It seems that you have become a plus and I became a minus.
Though If that butterfly would flap its wings..
would we be happy then?
Or we don`t deserve?
