Italian sonnet 9. Cromwell

This most terrible and unhappy hour
Let us pray to our Lord Christ the King.
Be valiant and fight with enemy of ours.
Remember, one’s  soul  is His and not a minx.

I beseech you, honorable members,
Cast out from your midst a wretched thing.
That’s a creepy man who sleepy slender
Makes  heart of our earthly  king.

I do not blame you for decision
Having had tried to teach him lesson
 To improve his royal vision

Now him to put to death. The guilt is theirs
Which are by Heaven over and over nevertheless in
Our Heaven Fight for their own earth affairs.
