Before one goes into the concept of reincarnation or paying for the sins of ancestors, which all may be true to some extent, it is imperative to imperially analyze your, own life by all acts preceding the events, leading to the negative outcomes.
Majority of our circumstances can be, then, explained by cause and effect of act after act, when the chain of events becomes clear.
The rest needs to be explained by other methods, but, let’s, first, understand what we do wrong that led to wrong, for us, situations. Then, we can avoid making the same mistakes, as well, as may have opportunities to correct the errors.
First, look at the closest karma: the karma of our wrong acts. Deal with it first.
Other things would become much easier and, sometimes, not, even needed then.
