Overboard
I feel the greedy waves devour my empty body,
Their tongues like fire sparks to pierce love,
Demolish, splinter, bury in the bottom muddy.
Sticking out like a sore thumb at the feast,
Clinging onto every straw to save myself,
Nobody was my name and I was lost amidst,
I wonder did I really need somebody`s help?
But such death is better than in predator`s jaws,
When their teeth tear to pieces bleeding skin,
When sun is refelected in sharpest steel claws
And fragrance of blood is spread by jungle wind.
Overboard without even a farewell goodbye,
As if we didn`t share those words in solitude,
As if we didn`t have those silent tears to cry,
And now I`m drowning, my body`s getting mute.
Overboard, but I hear the laughing sounds,
No need to stop a ship and throw the anchor,
You won`t approach the edge and turn around,
That cup was overfilled and we both drank it.
Let others swim on waves that swallowed me,
Let other singing deafen recent loud moans,
I broke the shackles and now absolutely free,
And only stars remind of me at break of dawn.
