Dying rose
But unlike others still growing I may fade sudden,
Clustering my fragile petals closer to lonely stem,
Suppressing my tears falling down like floral gems.
On a rainy day I will be plucked like other flowers,
And in ancient vase you`ll be admiring me for hours.
I`m the only one in your beautiful ancient vase,
You`re inhaling my fragrance under twilight stars,
But other roses are fading in another fragile bowl,
Soon they`ll be nothing but dried floral souls.
And tomorrow you`ll be tired of looking at me,
Put me together with others to die in sunny dream.
I won`t blame my gardener to fall for other rose,
I lived a happy life bestowed on with your prose,
You never told me I`m different but if only you did
I wouldn’t have cried those floral tears I hid.
I was wrong to fall in love with gardener`s smile,
It was me who should have made you beguiled
But who should bear the blame for floral tears?
You know ordinary roses don`t live for years,
Their life`s so short like a rare butterfly`s flight,
Up into crystal sky and down from dizzy height.
But before I fade throw me away into wind,
I don`t wanna wrap my petals into dying dream.
Cut me into tiny pieces and scatter them around,
I`ll fall like a snowflake on your ice-cold ground
Or better mix my fading petals with other ones,
It will hurt me more than dying in adorable arms.
When other roses die in black and white dreams
Will you understand you were truly loved by me?
