Dragonfly pin
Solemnly, like a beauty queen she crosses a street,
Seems the whole eternity is lying under her fragile feet,
Long red nails, curly chestnut hair,
Throwing attractive love molecules into urban air,
Her silhouette resembles stem of purple rose,
She herself is the embodiment of Cupid`s prose,
Or maybe she`s the poem still carried in the thoughts,
Not yet written, not yet put in poet`s scarlet words.
Like a rose she`s blooming more and more each day,
They are so few who dares to cross her starlit way,
They are few but once she`s chosen the one
Who showed her eternity, she called him ''southern sun''…
II
He loved her waving hair with its floral aroma,
The way she shrugged her shoulders in saying ''no'',
That dragonfly pin sparkled in the sun like supernova,
Unforgettable, always wrapped in luxury from head to toes.
He tried his best to please her pampered nature,
Her fickle habits, pinky whims to be amidst the light,
Those piercing eyes and learnt in childhood gestures,
From early years she was taught to be the queen of night.
She dared to love him as she never loved someone,
She saw a mirror looking in his sparkling eyes,
Dazzled by a smile, she called him ''southern sun''.
Hearts were beating on the frequency of common sighs.
Dragonfly pin seemed to fly in waves of curly hair,
Tiny diamonds glistened brighter than the stars,
He tried to give her love and heartfelt care,
She liked attention and those strong man`s arms…
III
One day he woke up and felt alone and strange,
As if his rose dropped her thorns and walked away,
But since he`s fallen for the eyes of flawless angel,
He couldn`t let suspicion be a stumbling stone on his way.
But when he came across her dragonfly pin on a sheet,
He started suddenly as if somebody punched him up,
Frozen, he couldn`t move but forced his trembling feet,
He lifted dragonfly pin as reminder of flawless love…
