How could I have been so blind?
The news today, just blew my mind!
You’ve been so welcoming to me,
And yet, I didn’t see, I didn’t see…
Then animosity kicked in,
You’ve gotten harsh, unfair, so mean,
I couldn’t figure out just why,
You’ve gotten cold and yet so shy…
You blushed with meeting of the eyes,
Your kindness turned to ugly lies,
Forgive me darling, I’m not your kind,
How could I have been so blind???!
