Beware of heroes

(don't look for rhyme in this one, just thoughts out loud)

Beware of heroes and things they inspire
Their religion-like fire!
Where do they lead us? Do tell.

With that lot, tolerating disasters comes easy...

If no safe haven is offered
To opposing forces
Are heroes then despots or did they simply forget?
There is always 'a' way, never 'the' way...

Corner an animal, see what happens.

Oh, and how they judge! :)
Art of assigning colors to things!
Especially deeds related to flesh...
That's why we choose them, to judge, no?

Just keep in mind, grey is still at the center of things
From there one can reach out to either extreme
But being sincerely in balance,
one never starts arguments
from a set position...

These thoughts at random protect our fiefdoms
One in each of our heads.
Surprised off course when things go sour
and those big heads roll... :)
Reminding us for whom the bell truly tolls

Bullet propelling apparatus - check!
Projectiles - check!
Sanctity of life is to be protected.
At any Cost?
In theory, at any cost.

And stop pissing us off or else!!!

Tell me tyrant, how will you govern us now?
Through a cliche of sorts?
Dividing us and conquering our loyalty
And how do you get it right?
Learn from the piece of cake!

Pick the right ingredients, control the proportions,
apply cold/heat as needed.

Otherwise, it's a rather dull affair indeed,
to rule without subjects...

you need - us!
