Vagrant

The wind of changes blew into my face,
I've left my home and didn't leave a note.
The sky is bright and easy is my pace-
I am a vagrant on a Dharma road.

To my kind Lama I do the homage pay
And do prostrate, to shed the karmic load.
I'll do whatever does he teach and say.
I'm a vagrant on a Dharma road.

In restless cities there is no need to stay.
There are the caves, deserted and remote.
Into the forest's thicket I'll tread my way.
I'm a vagrant on a Dharma road.

No one will bring an apple on a plate.
What is the use to be the fate's scapegoat?
This fickle girl I'm holding by the braid.
I'm a vagrant on a Dharma road.

It doesn't matter what before I did.
I'll wear off the obscuration's coat,
And therefore, what is a happiness indeed
To be a vagrant on a Dharma road!

He is content who as a hermit stays,
And may him help the verses that I wrote,
For he can equally the good and bad embrace,
This poor vagrant on a Dharma road!

The constant practice will construct the base
To cast my spirit as in a jewellery's mould.
And from the heart I pray that all my ways
Will be non-dual with the Dharma road!
