We don t match

Hours go by. And I hear your empty words.
We don’t match and come from different worlds.
You don’t speak the language I know,
When you leave, I won’t say “don’t go”.

When we met one day a while ago,
There was so much we didn’t know,
Yet we seized the chance to enjoy the gift,
The gift of fate. And with you I lived

Through that moment of madness, of precious lies,
Sliding into oblivion, sharing our lives.
And we thought it was love, it was just our fate…

So, I’ll let you go…You will walk the road
Alone…You’ll think I’m the one who has flipped our boat,
But it’s better to part before it’s too late,
We are meant for others, and that is our fate.
