Colbert had earned her Oscar’s for “It Happened One Night,” received recognition.
Playing various genres, she kept moving forward and pursuing her calling, mission.

Claudette seemed sensitive, aspiring, hard working, professional and conscientious.
She had achieved success in her career, inevitably becoming an American sensation.
Colbert was versatile, devoted, competent, generous, clever, disciplined, sharp, witty.
She was a lady with exquisite taste, good manners, feminine, charming, stylish, pretty.

Claudette invested a lot of time into acting profession while making many sacrifices.
She could not have complained, as her career brought to her some positive surprises.
Colbert was fortunate to have played characters in drama, melodrama, comedy films.
She was a sophisticated woman, extraordinary actress with outstanding acting skills.

The thirteen of September is Claudette Colbert’s birthday, which we are celebrating.
She’s been remembered as intelligent, engaging, optimistic, enthusiastic and radiating.
For audience and colleagues Colbert was a source of courage, strength and inspiration.
Today we think of her expressing our respect, love, care, admiration and appreciation.
