Legend of the Castle

Many years ago,
When people where different,
A rich famous lady
Lived in her castle.
She was alone,
And various gossips
Were spread around.
They said at midnight
She turned into a wolf
And attacked the villagers.
One day poor wood-cutter
Got lost in the dense forest.
It was already dark,
When he found lady's castle.
He knocked at the door,
And a young pretty girl
Came out of the gate.
She said, "Run away while you can!
My hostess will kill you!"
But the wood-cutter answered her,
"I'm not afraid.
Let me spend the night
At your place".
The girl consented
And show him his room.
Then she came out.
The wood-cutter left alone.
At midnight he woke up
A noise behind the door.
The lady was screaming
And was demanding
That he open the door.
But he didn't do it.
Then the lady came out
And flew to the window.
She said
She would break the window,
But the wood-cutter didn't believe her.
He lay on the bed
And closed his ears with a pillow.
In the morning he woke up.
The lady behind the window was gone.
The wood-cutter went round all castle,
But the hostess wasn't here.
He came into the remotest room
And noticed the knife on the table
And blood everywhere.
