it sweeter than fizz? why does it
make the poets dedicate it their chants,
hymns and sonnets?
tell me what love really is?

is it sweeter than fizz? or is it
just a tease? a distraction decease?
oh, cadets, epaulets,
swords and pistols and cornets...

It's a cold autumn rain when you're gone;
endless drizzle or a long
bygone kiss

or it is a one way
midnight twelve bar blues train...

It's the saddest thing when it goes away...
