A little more than everything
That you and I were friends somehow
I held forever in my arms
But you'd do nothing else but harm.
Still I remember how it feels,
It heals, it pounds, it's warm, it fills.
But now there's nothing in my arms,
You take forever, then war starts.
You can't remember you don't want,
But still it stalks, it holds, it haunts.
So take a look at broken arms,
I'd let it last, you'd let it pass.
I will remember, don't you think,
A little more than every thing
You've said and put into my arms
So, now we're strangers. It won't last.
