One Gentle Touch to the Mystery of Life
Go, stop, go!..
Dainty halftone...
You were born
In a bounty
Pa-ra-dise
Once - you think,
But more than twice!..
(If you don't know,
Throw the dice!)
You were breathing
Snowy air
You were growing
In a care
You're a child
Of lively heaven
At the end
You throw a seven*
(Don't believe it any more!..)
Gentle life
Or path with knots
Shot in ten
Or miss your shots
Be yourself
And live your life
Cherish days
Just best to strive!
Gentle tango...
Go, stop, go!..
Dainty halftone...
You were born
In a bounty
Pa-ra-dise...
*"At the end you throw a seven" means everybody dies at the end of life (Don't believe it!)
Explanatory NOTES:
- Intimacy, mystery of a new life (halftones, feelings, love-n-sex in the image of tango)
- Paradise - this is a link between a person and heaven, people and God
- You think that you were born once only, but maybe you're mistaken. Nobody knows the secret of life. You can throw a dice, but you never guess.
- Child is growing in a care and parent love
- Child of lively heaven = we're children of God, all of us have the destiny "path"
- At the end you throw a seven = don't believe that somebody dies. Life's endless.
- Life's difficult and different for all of us, but always be yourself, strive to do your best and give life to the next generations (repetition at the end of the poem means repetition of the main mystery of life - love and birth)
