Big city lights

Lost in a big city with your eyes wandering,
Admiring miracles of the lightened night,
Creeping shadow keeps on haunting you
When you`re descrying those piercing green eyes…

Bashful steps round bridge of scattered hopes,
Craving hands to touch those lips of love,
Despite the distance we are tied by solid ropes
To hold us closer when life gets tough.

I feel how feeling penetrates into my veins,
How drop by drop the blood speeds to the core,
Obscure threads are tangled in my working brain,
I gotta challenge destiny to heal the distance sore.

You feel impulsion of the twilight city,
It`s loud beating seems so quite deep at night,
Passing kitties dressed to kill and kinda pretty
But you keep looking for a girl with emerald eyes.

Rustling wind brings back the memories,
Where eyes met eyes at candlelight,
Of candy kisses with the taste of savory,
Of juicy strawberries in creamy ice.

Dusty sidewalks suffocate your eyes of sorrow,
You`re walking awkwardly under big city lights,
Without her turquoise eyes there`s no tomorrow,
Without her smile there will be no conquered heights.
