The fairytale of a Lunar beam
“A Lunar beam there was. He was small and golden. He was very thin and took pains to chine through thick thunderclouds. He often got lost in twigs in the dark forest and couldn’t manage to come into a room through a window when drapes were drawn. He was dreaming of becoming stronger as his elder brothers – bright solar beams – to bring everybody warmth, life and joy.
The beam was upset. He was thinking to himself: “Am I going to be so weak forever? Can I do anything good?”
But once upon a time a beautiful small silver star said to him: “We’re special. We can shine in the night and bring magic into life. Just shine from all your heart and be afraid of nothing!”
And the Lunar beam ran on the dark river surface and drew a shining path. All birds, and fish, and even trees on the shores admired it. Then he chined through a small window of a house and caressed a little boy’s cheek, and the boy saw a dream full of magic. The beam glinted on the forest foliage and helped a lost fawn to find his Mom.
By the morning, being tired and happy, he returned home – the Lunar disk. And hid there until the next sunset to perform new exploits!”
If you place the fairytale on your website, Mishka will be very grateful for he doesn’t have the opportunity to place it on the Internet. Thanks to all who have read the tale, who have placed it on the websites – who are helping to work wonders with our own hands! Let’s pray to God for the young Tale-teller, let’s ask Lord to make him able to write many-many new fairy-tales!
Let’s be that Lightful Lunar beam…
