Dizzy Gillespie – a legendary jazz composer, bandleader and trumpet musician.
Who knew what he aspired in life pursuing his biggest dream – a lifelong vision.
He was a master of improvisation and brought innovation, novelty in harmony
That was sophisticated and complex, making his jazz expression phenomenal.
 
Gillespie’s contribution to jazz including modern and bebop - valuable, priceless.
As pioneer of his time, bebop originator Dizzy was most inspirational and wisest.
He had integrated, blended modern jazz with Afro-Cuban flavor, rhythm, timing.
Dizzy expanded jazz as music genre to enrich as well as prevent it from confining.
 
Dizzy was kind, compassionate, witty, with a great sense of humor, candor and flair.
He was a giant in jazz community just like in dancing Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire.
Dizzy - a reservoir if new ideas, earned reputation of being the “Sound of Surprise.”
He was emotionally present during performances creating for the audience a paradise.
 
Gillespie’s comic talent was so natural, unique, refreshing, playful, subtle, appealing.
He had injected with it his musical performances, while making it engaging, thrilling.
Dizzy – a multicultural propagandist who sought humility, peace and ethnic equality.
He was an open minded person generously sharing a goodwill spirit and individuality.
 
His virtuosic delivery, artistic talents, ongoing ambitions, musicality and dedication
Had made Gillespie the revolutionary of bebop, modern jazz – worldwide sensation.
Dizzy possessed much courage and versatility performing as a solo artist, musician.
Throughout his career, he had succeeded and received respect, praise, recognition.
 
October 21st – Dizzy Gillespie’s birthday, shall we remember him in the bebop way?
Gillespie earned his credibility and honor in the music industry entitling him to sway.
He was a legend of all times and still exists in human spirits, minds, souls and hearts.
Dizzie’s a true example of his calling and implementer, reaching the highest heights.
