A prayer

I’m praying in despairing gloom
And implore our God to forgive:
For a sin, dear God, don’t spell doom,
Let me say only something and leave.

Every day in a hurry and fuss
We forget about cripples and orphans,
But we ask: “Who will take care of us?!” –
Our hearts become selfish and roughen.

We are jealous, sarcastic and snobs,
We are liars, seducers and haughty,
One man kills and the other man robs,
Cowards inside but outside we’re doughty.

There are no sacred souls among people –
We’re all debtors in front of the God.
Lord, forgive us and give us a little,
Just a little one chance and support!

Each of us should forgive when feels anger,
Maybe victory is not worth a damn.
When you’re tired and feel like old banger
Find those people who love you, stay with them!

We’re all brothers and sisters by nature,
If we all take each other by hand
(Help us all understand this, Creator!),
Then the evil will have to meet end.
