Sonnet - the Sun
The world is a mixed wholeness we’re living in,
There’s not only black and white, you‘ve said me late
And unexpected colors we may see in green;
There are the shades in black. Oh, if we love
The night can be the ugliest thing on the vast Earth?
Without even the bright stars to whirl above,
When we’re the only center of the Universe;
You say to me so many times so many words,
You pray for me to see all colors in my heart,
In which there is my love in our wondrous worlds...
You do repeat to me the sacred from your part:
“Look at the Sun; he gives with love his rays,
And with my love, light all the human days”.
