Isadora Duncan

May 27th – Isadora Duncan’s birthday.  In 2012 it has been 135 years since she was born.

 
Isadora Duncan – a worldwide legend, a genius modern dancer -
Her own inventions, innovative dreams, ideas carrier and passer.
She had experimented with natural movements and self-expression,
While pioneering novel approach and spreading much inspiration.
 
She started dancing very little, young as soon as she could walk.
Isadora Duncan kept practicing to dance, about which she’d talk.
She taught adults and children while introducing to dance novelty
With her creative spirit, beauty, vision, dream and sovereignty.
 
Duncan had dared improvising freely and implementing fantasies.
She was her own boss in an unrestrained dance vacuum or a galaxy.
Being inspired by the Greek and French art, Duncan had evolved.
She had discovered her own niche, in which further involved.

She took her art to Europe conducting multiple performances,
To which she had invested passion and given much importance.
Expressing rainbow, faucets of emotions in a nonstandard dancing
Allowed Isadora complimenting her technique and still advancing.
 
Isadora had integrated the ballet techniques and natural movement,
Achieving goals and honing skills with vigor, brilliance, improvement.
She had established audience and gradually gained vast recognition.
Duncan continued to moving forward, pursuing and promoting vision.
 
She blended social gymnastics, folk dance, nature and Greek art.
Duncan - well rounded, intelligent, persistent, versatile and smart.
Her courage, drive fulfilling dreams, enthusiasm inspired people.
Duncan had integrated two in one - sophisticated and yet simple.
 
Duncan truly believed in, sought a happy life filled with much love.
She had triumphed in personal arena and career while rising above.
Duncan absorbed, interpreted the music with her soul and heart.
Art, poetry and nature led dancing to a refreshing, novel start.
 
She had been born ahead of time and sought much self-expression.
Duncan, despite mixed critical reviews, had called people’s attention.
In life journey she was an adventurer and had possessed poetic spirit.
In dance world Isadora made a revolution, transformation and/or pivot.   

Today is Isadora Duncan’s birthday, her legacy remains in present.
She was innovative, talented, kind, attractive, charming and pleasant.
We do remember her profound, giant contribution in the world of dance.
To true dreamer, genius, inventor we give our tribute being entranced.
