          THE BEAR AND THE STUMP


     With own sclatic sat on Stump,
     The Bear - King of forest's beasts
     Belched openly without dump,
     And said - I'd judge yours evil breasts.

     In this way Themis very simple,
     An eye don't blink not once,
     That oak can produce an apple,
     And Hare can shock Fox by chance.

     Tremulous bestial world compacted,
     Affected judge to see be puzzled,
     Old Wolf their tail urgently drafted,
     Instead of Hare bit pussy-cat.

     Their scaltic over Stump he raised,
     Decided lot of Wolf as a rule.
     But Stump prompts scaltic other praise,
     The Bear knew - it is not a true.

     "Why you old Wolf", said he, "bit kitty,
     For this we'll cut off your a tail!"
     "Faggot of tail?", told Wolf with pity,
     "By what I'd sweep up my a trail?"

      
     Of course, the Bear understood,
     And Wolf was set free in the wood.
     Next day poor fellow climb a Stump,
     But Hare smelt,- the Bear'judge stank.
