You wonder why I give myself to ever-changing fortune
Sailing daily through the stranger tides
I say that fortune favours those who dare
And shies away from those who hide
Who knows what messages of fate we carry
In all those lines and creases on our skin
One thing’s for sure, if you never play
How are you ever gonna win
It isn’t always easy to be brave in life
And being strong’s much harder than it seems
But if you reach inside your heart and find a reason
It’s easier to fight when fighting for your dreams
‘Cause even stormy skies all clear in the end
And ocean’s roar simmers to a husk
So you can watch the fire spread over horizon
As sunset rivals the impending dusk
So glide through life like sailing through the sea
Some days will douse you in the icy water, some
Will make you see the miracles we tend to overlook
Decrypting messages of hundreds wonders yet to come
