12 февраля - день рождения Анны Павловой.  В 2012 году исполняется 131 год со дня её рождения.
February 12th - Anna Pavlova's birthday.


Anna Pavlova was an extraordinary ballerina.
Dance was her life, and stage was her performances’ arena.
Fulfilling her potentials and pursuing dreams with passion,
Courageous Anna dared to be the best in world and nation.

When growing up and dancing to become a ballet dancer,
It took her strength to self-defend, as if it were in fencing.
She’s initially rejected by Imperial Ballet School.
Invested effort, hard work, discipline making it her rule.

Eventually accepted, she trained, excelled and grown.
Moved through the ranks of mastery reaching “the prima” throne.
Anna became a legend promoting art of ballet dance,
Which due to her perseverance had transformed, evolved, advanced.

Pavlova was talented, diligent and conscientious.
Sincere as a person, as a dancer - dainty, gracious.
Anna expressed emotions’ rainbow using techniques as tools.
When watching her performances, people saw and felt all hues.

La Bayadere, Le Corsaire, Les Sylphydes, Don Quixote, Giselle…
Regardless what Anna Pavlova danced, she performed it very well.
Her Dying Swan was sentimental, moving and dramatic.
Anna triumphed on stage leaving the audience ecstatic.

With ongoing dedication, drive and passion for her art,
At first glance - shy, unsociable, she had warmest soul and heart.
As person and professional she exuded light, inspired.
The audience was smitten with appreciation and desire.

Promoting artistic freedom and individuality,
She shifted many people’s minds creating new reality.
Today is Anna Pavlova’s birthday, we feel her in our hearts.
Having inspired by her genius, our new life chapter starts.
