Every morning starts with sunshine
And I wake up with a smile,
Feeling free from all my sorrow,
Free from doubts and your lie.
Wish you knew how it was painful
To hold on when you’re not there.
I felt lost, my heart got broken.
Though it’s clear you wouldn’t care.
Still I’m grateful that I had you,
You brought sunlight in my world.
I’ll keep safe each happy moment,
All the nice words that were told.
And the thing is that I can’t get
How you saw it from the start.
