last night i saw you in my dream
it was so real, i still can feel it
we were so happy as it seemed
and there were you so bright and vivid
you held my hands and touched my hair
you were so generous and tender
i couldn't breath - i didn't dare
i lost myself in sweet surrender
we didn't seem to give it up
i thought that it would last forever....
then morning came and i woke up
i knew we couldn't be together
i sometimes say your name in prays
and hope you have all that you wanted
if not, don't ever tell me this
please do not make me disappointed
