Береза -The birch - пер. С. Есенина

A white birch is covered
All with a snow veil,
As with silver, rather,
Outside my dwell.

On the fluffy boughs,
With the snow lace
There appeared flowers
On her white hoar dress.

And the birch is staying
In the quiet dream,
Like gold, there snowflakes
Are sparkling all in peace.

And the dawn, so lazily
Going around,
Sprinkles the new silver
On the lacy boughs.

БЕРЕЗА

Белая береза
Под моим окном
Принакрылась снегом,
Точно серебром.

На пушистых ветках
Снежною каймой
Распустились кисти
Белой бахромой.

И стоит береза
В сонной тишине,
И горят снежинки
В золотом огне.

А заря, лениво
Обходя кругом,
Обсыпает ветки
Новым серебром.

Dear Lyudmila!
Almost perfect, but "fluffy boughs" sounds a bit awkward, "in peace" is used without an article, and in the phrase "As the gold" you should say "like gold".
I will endlessly admire your unparalleled creative feat, maybe, it'd be great if you could give me your email and/or cellphone number so that we could communicate and improve our skills.
Yours truly,
Eugenius

You may write on lyudmila_31@mail.ru or lyudmila31@hotmail.com. It's great, that you are ready to merge me into real english, not some artificial, as I've learned in school :) Best wishes. Lyudmila

I've found several synonims to пушистый, besides of fluffy - cottony, downy, fleecy, fuzzy. Which is better?

"Downy" and "fluffy" can be used synonymously, "fleecy" comes from "fleece", which literally means "the wool of a sheep". However, Yesenin was a great grammar rule-breaker; and it is sometimes really hard to translate his poetry into English. I would rather use "fuzzy", nevertheless, different translators may have different opinions on this.
Yours truly,
Eugenius
