All that to us seemed so eternal once
Was shred to pieces and destroyed, collapsed.
And we were left among the shreds and dust
Of the collapsed world with all its lust.
We were like blind-born puppies all along,
We never knew, who really held the throne.
We were destroyed by our pride and wealth
We did forget our ever-praising self…
