Stop agonizing and rushing in vain,
Look around with calm, loving eyes,
See the life and accept all the things as they are -
Far from perfect but filled with surprise.
And slow down enjoying a moment of warmth,
Hear the laughter of friends, their chat,
There are surely things in this life that are good -
There is music and singing to start.
Leave the bitterness, stop criticizing - just watch.
There's young love like the freshness of spring,
Gentle touch, certain innocence, they still exist,
Life is not such a terrible thing.
