How splendid
Is the rainy day
When floods go down on me..
It's candid,
As the lies you say
Make all me shine with glee.
I'm praying
For a heavy storm
To carry me off feet.
'D be saying
That the wind's so warm
As my love indiscreet..
It'll burn to ashes
Me the day so calm -
No blade of grass at sway..
My soul
Will all be of alarm..
And then just die for ay.
