THE SUN’S CIRCLE

Circle of the sun, the sky are done,–
that’s what the boy drew and colored 
with blue for sky, yellow – sun;
wrote the verse for his mom:
          
          Refrain:

          May the sun be forever,
          may the sky be forever,
          may my mom be forever,
          may there always be me.

My little friend, my darling friend,
people want peace so strongly.
At thirty five heart hasn’t tied 
beating a day and a night:

           Refrain…

Soldier, don’t shoot; listen, don’t shoot.
People afraid of the blows.
Thousands of eyes look at the skies,
the lips repeat to the guys:

             Refrain…

Contrary to troubles and wars
we’ll stand united for children.
Always the sun, always the sky –
for that a human stands by.

Солнечный круг, небо вокруг –
Это рисунок мальчишки.
Нарисовал он на листке
И подписал в уголке:

         Припев:

         Пусть всегда будет солнце,
         Пусть всегда будет небо,
         Пусть всегда будет мама,
         Пусть всегда буду я.

Милый мой друг, добрый мой друг,
Людям так хочется мира.
И в тридцать пять сердце опять
Не устаёт повторять:

Тише, солдат, слышишь, солдат,
Люди пугаются взрывов.
Тысячи глаз в небо глядят,
Губы упрямо твердят:

Против беды, против войны
Станем за наших мальчишек.
Солнце навек, счастье навек –
Так повелел человек.
