I look at the world...

I look at the world and it seems messy.

and so... i decide to remove couple things.
whatever we made up for the past centuries
away with the human made stuff...

everything that used to be just a thought,
just a concept, a crevice in the brain,
and then came into being - away with it!

the first computer started as an idea
of its functionality and look.
it came into being big as a room,

then improved and became small as a notebook,
and even smaller as a smartphone.
i erase the idea, the computer and the phone.

i remove tall buildings and highways,
stores, hospitals, roads and bridges,
electricity, wires, and wireless,

subways, cars and airplaines,
gadgets, TV, and computers,
home appliances, and refrigerators,

films, books, theaters, magazines,
lights on the Time Square, commercials,
statues, paintings, museums, and galleries.

At the end i am left with whatever was in the beginning -
the green grass, soil, fresh air, trees and flowers,
rivers, seas, stars, and the skies.

But the Bible says that the skies, light and night,
water, earth, aether, animals and man
were all thought up by the god.

And so, i remove one more thinking head,
the generator of ideas, images and things,
away with the gods who think too much

and what am i left with? with nothing...?
Oh, no! instead of the pure bliss of Nirvana,
of no beginning and no end,
not a thought, not a word, not a thing

i end up with my own aching brain
thinking too much about the unthinkable
trying to be in the non-being
not to be in the to be
or not to be
not to
be
