I wish you joy
I wish you joy, my dearest boy,
The love you’ve never had,
Which lies like a dismembered toy
On cold and lonely bed.
I wish you happiness and might
To bear inside your grip.
Throughout bright day or darkest night
Do cherish love, not grief.
Whenever snows or gusts, or rains
Let Lord protect your peace.
Life offers us its changing trains;
Give it a try; don’t miss.
You might discover signs of lust,
Which scattered from my hands.
But one could not revive the past
And visit twice its lands.
Between these lines, these dazzled words
You’ll find my humble soul.
Its jumbled and devoted cords
Will sense your aching call.
So, please remember me at times
And recollect the beam,
That’s given you between those lines -
The warmth of voiceless dream.
