Broken love

Broken Love:

I’ve opened you, but there’s no love.
Yes, people said. Yes, people saw.
But the reality is tough,
There isn’t an established law.

I tried to prove myself it’s wrong.
And that I do! And that I’ve got!
But I’ve found out, I’m not that strong,
And you will have to bear my lot.

You keep repeating me again
That love is there, deep down my heart.
But it resembles more of pain,
And this is why we are apart.

If I could only find the key!
If you could only find the lock!
We don’t connect my friend. Do we?
I’m stormy wind. You’re mountain’s rock.

I’m not enough to pull the weight.
I’m just an ordinary girl.
You call me back. You say: Please, wait!
But I can’t run after my soul.

For all that fuss of afterthought
Destructed my impassioned flight;
The worries your existence brought,
The little guilts I had to fight.

For all this time I was so bound!
So bound to you, your needs, your world…
My wings grew roots into the ground,
My heart grew inmate in the cold.

If I could only find the way!
If you could only find my chart!
I’m starry night. You’re sunny day.
When I’m at finish, you just start.

I can’t be lost among the qualms,
Can’t chain myself to loving state.
Yet I adore your warming palms!
Yet I desire you as mate!

The hearty cuddle you had brought
Is to remain its tender trace,
But I just need my piece in thought,
Inside my heart, between these days.

Forgive me if you can, or don’t.
I cannot walk, I’d rather fly!
I cannot wait, nor do I want…
This song will be my last goodbye.

To you, to you…

If you could only find the key!
If I could only find the lock!
We don’t connect my friend. Do we?
Our love is fixed like broken clock.
