The Tragedy Of Life

And morning came and lit the world, so dire,
With clear unapologetic glare
And saw the meadows bright ablaze with fire
From yesterday's unfinished battle flare

It saw the sticky crimson coloured grass
So full and soaked with many peoples' blood
Like filled to brim with vintage red wine glass
That clutters to the floor with hollow thud

It heard the twisted words of foreign army
And writers that won't live to tell the tale
All swept away by panicked-crowd tsunami
That strains to reach some shelter from the bullet hale

It stared in horror at the ashes-clad Empire
So torn from  being under ruthless siege for many years
And people raising their voices to the sky in mournful choir
Eyes rimmed with red and faces wet with tears

It witnessed thoughts turn crass and minds haywire
And strangers come and go without a permission to trespass
Where sadness and despair decided to conspire
With hope that seeped away through cracks in hourglass

Lets take a breath and close our eyes, all blessings counted
And rest in peace, all hatches buried in the ground
We'll find ourselves exceedingly astounded
By all amazing things that can be lost and found
