Majesty

One thousand years ago a fire tore the moonless night
And grasped the barren land with its raging light
It split the darkness and the cold and made the air dance
With its rays of warmth and gold it glared like a star
That fell onto the ground from the blackened sky
And blazed the sleeping soil of a realm so far...

I was there, in the stark domain, and I was the first to see
Beyond the giant tongues of fire that proclaimed world's destiny
And there was palace built of rushing fiery whirls
Pervading all around with its storming beams

I dared not to stay away, I knocked it's heaving gates
And got inside the roaring castle and witnessed its devouring grace
Squalls of heat were rushing there spurred by the intensive light
There I jumped on one of them and dashed with the tide
Through the burning halls and corridors I surfed within the lava flow
And to the throne room I was brought then, there those blazing winds were born

I saw their mistress, the Queen of Sun, her grandeur I won't describe
For all my letters will be a pale shade doomed to fade, to fade away
She stood up from her shining throne and in my head her voice told:
"I crossed the universe and came into your obscured world
To defy and to dethrone the eclipse you bow before
I am here to vanquish night and to give you the delight
Of life under the star of day that in heavens I will place"

"Your Majesty", - I spoke in answer. - "For thousands moons I roam these lands
Oppressed by the constant darkness bred of severe ignorance...
Where I walked I sowed the seeds of knowledge, buried them into the womb of earth
And watered them by bitter tears dropped through my eyes and to the soil
Their time has come to grow and blossom, the seeds shall bloom with all their might
So rise, your Majesty, soar from the ground and bath this world in your light!"
