Whenever I’m happy or when I’m depressed,
While being busy, while having a rest,
I think, as a rule, of my dearest friends…
True friendship, you know, is of greatest importance,
‘Cause friendship is something that never ends.
They cheer me up and they calm me down –
Friends from a village, friends from a town,
Friends from my country and friends from abroad…
It’s ‘cause we are together, that makes us still able
To cope with the bumpiness of the life road.
Thus, whenever I rise and whenever I fall,
I just do my best to be friendly to all –
Real friends won’t be bought, nor will they be sold…
