I woke up this morning late,
Dreams of you kept me warm in bed
Your gentle touch closed my eyes at night
Your soothing voice was my lullaby
We went places in my dreams
Hand in hand, kiss for a kiss
You were so kind, so gentle and loving
I felt like I went to heaven and I didn't mind
All the problems had disappeared
And it was just me and you, waltzing on the street
And it slowly began to rain and I wanted to stay there forever
But now it's the morning and not my silly loving dream
Yet when I close my eyes I can still feel you on my skin
I can still feel you on my skin
