Seashells on the sand

Inhaling seaside air like snow-white jasmine odor,
Admiring crimson sunset far from me,
Plunging sunburnt legs in calid twilight water,
I`m sharing my feelings with mighty waves of nighttime sea.

I`m eager to embrace the diamond velvet of the sky,
I`m screaming out for all humanity to know,
A month ago my tears of love were slowly dried,
I almost drowned in his hugs in fresh breeze blow.

We laid our names with seashells on the sand,
We sang along with awesome birds the whole night through,
I felt I was a fragile bowl in his skilful brawny hands
When moon portrayed our future in unpredictable exotic hues.

Like pouring rain nourishes guava,
Relaxing seaside time inspired love in tired hearts,
We danced flamenco urging by the waves that whispered ‘bravo’
And relished high tide danger like we played the game of darts.

We savoured milk from coconuts and felt the smack of sugar,
We were indulged by silver moon and deep blue sea,
We wandered near waves and kisses were as sweet as sticky nougat,
I felt the shooting stars were falling down behind me.

We guarded seashells from scorching sun and pelting rain,
We sat together and gentle breeze caressed our bronzy skin,
Our soul strings were tightly bound by everlasting chain,
As we lay on sand turning faces to the blast of southern wind…

I`m standing here admiring the seashells,
I still can see your footprints leading far from empty me,
Recalling tempting lips that had the honey smack of Turkish caramel,
I`m plunging sunburnt legs in raging waves of twilight sea.

U promised u`d come back to me a year later,
U kissed my trembling knees while seashore stones pierced feet,
Dusk and twilight moon were great narrators,
They told love story about leaving u and waiting me.
