Courtesans... Suffrage to Love and to be Married

She sold her flesh for many years
As sausage with a glass of beer,
The famous men (and even Prince!)
Were lookin’ forward to “sweet miss”!..

They made good presents for caress
So that she never felt distress -
Delicious foods, refined rich dress
She got if clients were “impressed”!..

Her naked body played so cool
That no one chap became a fool;
From lady’s hugs so tender-cruel
He got excited like rage bull!..

But time was over as a stopped fan -
She fell in love with one young man,
Who didn’t know what she was then,
And didn’t try to understand:

What was the meaning of the word
“A courtesan” in versatile World,
As well as there's a lot of fraud -
Through life he flew like a naive bird…

He also fell in love with her
Though she was elder, he preferred
To be with a lady than with a girl,
Like a crazy guy (his poor head whirled)!..

Nobody told him what she was,
Of blind true love his eyes were closed
Until he saw her in a cross-roads
With nosegay of big red roses…

He followed her to some restaurant
And then he saw that “Papa John”
Was callin’ somebody by phone,
And soon she didn’t look alone,

‘Cause some fat man from the upstairs
Came in and kissed her tremblin’ hands,
Then hold her waist and touched her breasts,
And she kept smilin’ to “dear guest”!..

He felt himself so smashed and crumpled,
As if had almost lost the ground
Under his legs, eyebrows got frown,
And couldn’t cause himself calm down!..

“She is a prostitute, my God! -
How a woman of such a brutal sort
Could be my wife? I’ll never want
To see since now her at home!”…
-----------------------------------------
But later on in his wide bed
They lay, his fingers on her head,
Both very tired and upset
And he, at last, with sorrow said:

- I’ll never love so hot and strong,
But I must tell you now – “so long!”;
My debt for those six month had grown –
Take fifty thousand “for warm”!..

- My dear, don’t outrage me, please, -
I was much time your “lover miss”,
Sincerely loved you, not for “fees”
I gave you joy – be happy, cheers!

She took no money, only cried,
When was rejected as a bride;
She felt herself like a serious crime
And was too near to suicide!..
-------------------------------------------
She slowly wondered down the streets
Her skirt was fluttered by fresh breeze,
“Bad fellows” sent her air kiss,
“Nick” was the former - “precious miss”!

Bob, your language is American, not British, isn't it?
I believe better a glorious death than a shameful life!

Thank you for your attention and for such
interesting comments, Helga!:))))
But why you think that my English is American? -
Have you found some american slang in my verses?
I prefer British English, and, for instance, I never
write "color" but "colour", etc.:))))

I beg your pardon, but some mistakes of yours make me think like this. I am sorry!

Could you show me my mistakes, if it isn't too
tiresome for you, Helga?:))) Just several examples...
I'll be very thankful to you!:))))
