Masquerade of feelings

I stood in middle of the bustling hall,
Enwrapped in mask and golden color gown,
My hidden feelings tangled in a crystal ball,
I searched for you and hid my ears from violin sounds.

Cryptic haze enveloped faces,
Couples danced under the tunes of magic symphony,
All seemed to drown in silk and laces,
A glass of wine intoxicated me.

Soon I felt somebody touched me gently on the hand
Involving in a dance of fiery delight,
I touched his wrists and felt I danced on burning sand,
I saw his smile but eyes were hidden by the mask of night.

Perhaps it was mysterious you,
Perhaps I touched your strong man`s hands,
But night and symphony were so cruel,
They hid our faces and forced to dance the whole night stand.

You slid my waist so carefully and gently,
You dipped your fingertips into my skittish chestnut curls,
Sure it was you `cause it felt shivering and differently,
So passionate and overwhelming like raging ocean whirls.

The lights went on, your image melted,
I felt delusion, what was it?
Red wine temptation made me stranded,
I lost alluring light your hazel eyes emit.

I took my crystal ball but it fell down,
It broke to pieces hurting feet,
I stood enthralled by violin sounds
And let red wine continue intoxicating me.

I looked around in search of you,
Your glance that made me numb and somewhat blind,
Portrayed your image with vivid abstract hues,
Your heartfelt smile has stuck right in my mind.

Somebody slammed the door behind me,
I felt his smile through the crowd of golden masks,
Was it you or just illusive shadow aspiring to creep?
Was it your handsome face scarcely visible in dusk?
