What We Are

We are unresolvable questions,
We are unresolvable lives,
We are undeniable tensions
Of truths, residing in lies.

We are indespensable pieces
Of hovering fingers of Gods,
In war realizing what peace is
And pleasure's, getting the rods.

A look in the eyes of a blindman,
A sound in the ears of the deaf
We are! We worship a lie, when
The music has got off the clef.

We pray and we scream and we cry!
We crave for the soul's salvation!
Goddamning the sky on the sly
And begging in hell's starvation!

We're hues of the dark, uncertain
If there is a hint of the Lord;
Being wrapped in a foggy certain
We stumble and wander and ford...
