In our temporary stay

Every moment in this world
Is precious to me,
Though there is neither time nor space.
I’d better not miss what I’d come for.
The years of suffering teach to live in compassion.
Misery follows happiness, alternating one another.
It seems like people will always find reasons for grief,
There is no peace for the worldly mind.
How many hearts have succumbed to an illusion?
I visited places that others only dream about.
I’ve seen all the puffery of pride and vanity,
Yet, somehow, my heart isn’t touched by them,
Since our sojourn in the world is only an instant.
When I abandon my bodily temple
I won’t be able to take a thing.
And why would I? Vanity is dust in the heavenly realm.
In our temporary stay, we all daydream.

So let our dream be a moment of wonder,
Every breath I take is worth only IN innocence.
May light within be a blissful thunder,
Only love can deliver us to the hall of fame.
