She just believed...

               
She just believed in happiness and wisdom,
She woke up and sang a tune to dawn,
He promised Universe and diamonds of illusive kingdom
And now her heart`s become a stone.

She praised the Gods and flew in heaven,
She smiled to wind and caught sunshine,
She thought he`s angel not a devil,
He used his charm to look divine.

She could pretend she`s on her own,
But crystal tears revealed the pain,
Possessing patience not yet known,
She played for time and felt disdain.

He was the air hard to breathe without,
He was the morning dew and mountains` delight,
He was her everything she wished to think about,
And was the only one she saw in dream at night.


She felt his whispers down her spine,
Her battered mind was a mess,
But better truth instead of lying,
She chose her life in happiness.

One day she`ll open her eyes and smile,
She`ll feel the craving for the day,
To make her life and destiny worthwhile
She has to see what`s real, what`s fake.
