To lose a person

I wonder if a one-third of all the population of earth has thought about meaning of losing someone.
Does it mean only that someone's gone? Or maybe it can be used in lots of different cases.

To lose someone means feeling of emptiness, considering that we miss something.
That implies the tint of importance to the one we've lost.

There are so many people walking in and leaving our lives.
Some become our friends, lots are just acquaintance, some are our relatives, and some are our loved.
But most of these people stay with us just for a short period of time.
And when they need to disappear — that means we've lost them.

When I lose the one I love it hurts.
It hurts no matter what because I'm used to see that one, to hear his/her voice, to discuss some issues together, to share my feelings.
Because I'm used to give a particle of me each time we see or hear each other.
And when the one is far from my life, it's like I lose part of myself, and I'm not the whole something, but just a part.
It's like after the surgery — it hurts 'cause there are stitches that are to close the hole where once it was something, but now there is nothing.
And often after the surgery we think: "What if, then I could save it?"

So, maybe that's the point!
Maybe we need just to do our best in treating our loved when they are near, for when we lose them not to think that it could be prevented in case of our different behavior………….
